Very Veggie Heart Healthy Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Leaf Red Kale
  • 1 Large Handful Baby Spinach
  • 1 Large Handful Arugula
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Large Red Apple
  • 2 Servings Dried Cranberries
  • 1/4 Cup Broccoli Sprouts
  • 1/4 Cup Alfalfa Sprouts
  • 3 tbsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. De-stem Kale and cut into small bite size pieces. 

    2. Add one handful of Baby Spinach, and add. one handful of Arugula. 

    3. Pour in Olive Oil and Lemon juice and massage until all of the leaves have been coated. 

    4. Cut apple into small pieces. 

    5. Add half of the apple pieces along with half of the Alfalfa and Broccoli Sprouts into the salad bowl with the vegetables. 

    6. Mix everything together. 

    7. Add in the remaining ingredients including the Dried Cranberries and the Sesame Seeds and mix together. 

    Optional salad dressing, add 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil, 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice and 1 tsp of Honey. Mix together and add additional honey if needed. Pour over salad for a light coating. Enjoy.
